Labmate Awards for Excellence 2025
The Alltesta™ Mini-Autosampler, developed by SIELC Technologies, represents a revolutionary breakthrough in the field of automated processing of liquid and soluble samples. Designed with the growing needs of modern laboratories in mind, it offers unparalleled precision, flexibility, and compactness, making it a key innovation for high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) and a wide range of analytical applications.
Key Innovations and Benefits
Compactness with High Performance
The Alltesta™ Mini-Autosampler is one of the smallest yet most powerful autosamplers, making it ideal for laboratories with limited workspace. Despite its size, its enhanced capabilities make it a powerful tool for high-throughput analysis.
Unique Customization Capabilities
Unlike traditional autosamplers, the Alltesta™ Mini-Autosampler offers an exceptional level of hardware and software customization, allowing laboratories to adapt it to their specific needs:
Option for a metal-free liquid path: Ensures sample processing without the risk of metal contamination, which is particularly important for sensitive analyses.
Flexible tray configuration: Supports racks for 48 vials as well as plates for 96 and 384 wells.
Variety of valve and syringe configurations: Compatible with various volumes, materials (stainless steel or metal-free components), and high-pressure operation.
Adjustable needle length: Available in short (36 mm) and long (46 mm) versions, as well as metal-free capillary needles.
OEM customization: Allows for the customization of vial shapes, colors, and sizes for seamless integration into proprietary systems.
Seamless Software Integration
The open communication protocol allows direct control via sequential commands, ensuring compatibility with existing laboratory systems. A comprehensive command library enables users to automate liquid sample processing, improving laboratory workflows. In configuration with the Alltesta Automated Analyzer, cloud-based remote control enhances workflow efficiency, enabling users to monitor and control the device remotely. Full software integration support is provided.
Enhanced Analytical Capabilities
Built-In Shaking Feature: Ensures sample homogeneity with sample mixing before injection; allows sample extraction directly within the vial; or efficiently quenches the sample with a quench reagent precisely delivered by the pump to the vial.
Fraction collection: With a simple software modification, the Alltesta™ Mini-Autosampler can function as a fraction collector, enabling fractions to be individually collected in designated vials.
Reactor probe sampling: A simple software modification can quickly convert this small autosampler into a reactor probe sampler.
Consecutive feeding of different samples to a detector: In many situations, spectrometers such as NMR and MS need to be loaded periodically with a series of samples with a minimal distance from the sample to the detector. The Alltesta **Mini-**Autosampler, due to its small size, can be placed close to the measuring cell, which minimizes sample dispersion and measurement delay.
Reagent addition and sample dilution: Integrated reagent addition, sampling dilution, and mixing capabilities allow users to prepare samples for the next step in the analytical workflow.
Loading of fluidic devices: This autosampler application allows users to automate sample storage and delivery to a microfluidic device (chip). An accurate sample volume can be adjusted by the user and delivered to a line connected to the chip.
Sequential Fluorescence In Situ Hybridization (seqFISH+): This autosampler application allows users to automate RNA fluorescent marker delivery to a Sequential Fluorescence In Situ Hybridization (seqFISH+) system with access to multiple buffers to maintain accurate fluorescence and piping conditions.
Wide Range of Applications
From environmental monitoring to pharmaceutical testing, food analysis, biotechnology research, and clinical diagnostics — the Alltesta™ Mini-Autosampler enhances accuracy, efficiency, and automation levels in various laboratory processes.
By combining cutting-edge innovation, modular adaptability, and seamless integration, the Alltesta™ Mini-Autosampler sets a new standard in automated sample processing. Its ability to increase efficiency, minimize errors, and optimize analytical workflows makes it a worthy candidate for the Labmate Award for Excellence in Bench-Top Innovation."
