Precision Balances Combine Features and Portability

Adam Equipment’s Highland portable precision balance is equipped with built-in features and functions to make weighing easier and more efficient than other comparable balances.  

Highland’s innovative design elevates this portable precision balance to levels of resilience and functionality previously seen only in more expensive models. Its ShockProtect® internal overload protection guards against damage from heavy loads placed on top of the balance. To ensure consistent measurement, the built-in HandiCal® feature offers fast and easy calibration without using external weights.

All Highland balances come equipped with RS-232 and USB interfaces for communication with computers and printers. A rechargeable battery, removable draft shield, adjustable feet, levelling bubble, stainless steel pan and a weigh-below hook for density and specific gravity measurements are standard on the balance. The built-in security slot for a Kensington-type lock and cable helps deter theft. Available in eight models, the Highland boasts capacities from 120g to 3000g, and up to 15 different units of measure.
