Balances
KERN & SOHN will be presenting analytical and precision balances, moisture analysers and microscopes that can be integrated into digital laboratory processes at analytica 2026 in Hall B2, at Stand 206. The focus is on software-supported recording and further processing of measuring and weighing data.
The KERN BalanceConnection software plays a key role, enabling measuring and weighing data to be automatically recorded, documented and processed further. At the trade fair in Munich, KERN will be demonstrating the application using a networked system consisting of the high-end KERN ABP-A analytical balance, the KERN DBS moisture analyser and the KERN PDS precision balance. The software connects multiple measuring devices in parallel or synchronises with a PC and serves as a central interface for digital processing of the measuring data.
"Many laboratories face the challenge of integrating measurements into their digital processes reliably and without media discontinuity," said Aleksandar Delic, Category Manager Laboratory at KERN & SOHN. “With KERN BalanceConnection, measuring data can be automatically recorded and reproducibly documented, even for long-term tests or continuous recordings.”
KERN will also be presenting the latest analytical and precision balances from the ADS/PDS series with semi-touch display. In addition to the KERN DBS, the company is also introducing the new KERN DIS moisture analyser, which delivers precise results even with low moisture content. The family-owned company will also be showcasing various transmitted light, video and fluorescence microscopes, including a new fluorescence microscope with LED technology. Additional measuring devices such as digital refractometers for applications in quality control and process monitoring round off the trade fair appearance.
