For more than half a century, Adam has been the answer when accuracy is the priority. That legacy evolved with the debut of the company's new brand identity earlier this year, focusing on Adam's commitment to providing expanded solutions and clearer vision to industries where precision matters most, such as laboratories and pharmaceuticals
Product development has become a company priority, with Adam allocating 10 per cent growth to research and development this year. Colin Maher, Adam's CEO/Group Managing Director, said that following the launches of the Polaris balance range in January and the Sentinel dynamic checkweigher in June, "we are expecting product launches to accelerate, with a long-term goal of introducing new solutions every three months."
Sentinel is Adam's first dynamic checkweigher, offering many bespoke aspects that make it suitable for a variety of applications within the pharmaceutical and food production industries.
"The crucial thing about Sentinel," noted Maher, "is its price point. Many businesses are put off inline checkweighing equipment because of the cost. We're making sure our pricing is comfortably below the main players in inline checkweighing, making it a more accessible option for more businesses. It gives them an easier way to scale up their production without the massive outlay of a typical dynamic inline checkweigher system."
In addition to Adam's precision laboratory solutions, the company also partners with system designers and software tech companies for custom projects, including projects that have focused on laboratory automation and Industry 4.0 applications.
