To demonstrate that sample preparation for its unique total reflection X-ray (TXRF) spectrometer S2 PICOFOX is easy, Bruker has designed a poster that summarizes the required steps for different sample categories. The S2 PICOFOX is a versatile benchtop spectrometer that can be used for simultaneous multi-element trace analysis both in the lab and in the field. Limits of detection are down to the ppb-range, depending on element and excitation conditions.

The S2 PICOFOX can analyze many different types of samples. You will find information on the preparation of simple substances like water to complex materials like nano-particles and other high-tech materials. Basically the range of applications covers a broad field including fundamental research, health, nutrition, medicine and pharmacy, but also environmental and forensics. The poster shows typical examples for all of these and explains sample preparation in simple steps.

Additionally, the poster also contains valuable information on the limits of detection in the given sample category and states the benefits of using TXRF for the task. Not to be forgotten is the list of golden rules that every analyst should stick to. Click here to order your personal copy.
