Additionally important ISO and ASTM methods are predefined to allow quick implementation in the field. The newly developed analyser crystal XS-Ge-C enables user to achieve detection limits for sulphur in automotive fuels of 0.2 ppm. The expert can also use all library settings to implement own methods as well as to mix precalibrated methods with custom standard based methods. This novel approach was made possible by combining spectrometer hardware designed for the safe and process grade analysis of liquids with a cutting edge software base allowing wide range calibrations.
