Fortis Technologies Ltd announces the launch of their brand new SpeedCore pH Plus core-shell columns.  Using proprietary Surface Grafting Technology (SGT) access to surface sites is virtually eliminated; as a result dissolution of the underlying silica is prevented.

Marketing Director Mark Woodruff said: “Core-shell technology has rapidly been accepted in HPLC as the new optimum for high performance without the elevated backpressure associated in UHPLC, but until now this technology was being held back by lack of pH stability.  Now with the introduction of SpeedCore PH Plus, no longer is buffer type, pH level or operating temperature a limitation.”

Available in 2.6um and 5um particle sizes the SpeedCore pH Plus columns offer all the benefits of core-shell technology but now with unrivalled high and low pH stabililty.
