Join us for an in depth e-learning session on Ion Chromatography enabling you to learn how to perform automatic calibration technique’s and how to couple Ion Chromatography to Mass Spectrometers for day to day practical use.
New automatic calibration methods available that are engineered to save time and improve the precision and reliability of results are discussed that in the past were done manually. The historical methods are time consuming and error prone. The session explains the techniques and shows capabilities to enhance the measurement range of your samples. Additionally tips and tricks for IC calibrations are given to aid all ion chromatography applications.
Mass spectrometry is a preferrential detection method due to its exceptional sensitivity, its ability to resolve co-eluting compounds, and the additional information it provides to the analyst for the identification of compounds. The coupling of ion-exchange chromatography to MS has never really been explored due to the high salt concentrations used in the elution of compounds from the ion-exchange column. In this session learn the historical background of IC-MS, how to achieve effluent ion suppression and the various modes of IC-MS available today with accompanying applications for each mode and then learn of current application areas and advantages of coupling IC-MS.
