Specially adapted for GC, the v-kit Digital Pressure Meter from NLG Analytical enables easy and accurate measurement of gas pressure at inlets. A universal capillary inlet adaptor is provided along with an Agilent compatible nut and ferrule, for connection to capillary inlets on 5890,6850,6890 & 7890. Other GCs can be connected by using the manufacturer’s standard capillary inlet nut and ferrule. The pressure meter is supplied with a traceable certificate of calibration.

Used in combination with NLG’s v-kit software it is possible to also use the digital pressure meter to diagnose common GC pressure problems. Inlet pressure accuracy is a key parameter in the OQ of any GC system. The inlet flow-rate set in GCs with electronic pressure control is simply derived from inlet pressure in conjunction with carrier gas type (such as He, H2, N2), column dimensions and temperature, making accurate pressure control essential.

VKIT-DMA Digital Pressure Meter Specifications: accuracy: ±0.2% FS at 23°C/73°F; repeatability: ±0.1% FS@23°C/73°F; operating temp: 0 to 50°C; proof pressure: 2x FS; battery: 9 V (included); battery life: 125 hours using MN1604; Dimensions: 178 H x 83 W x 29mm D; weight: 330g includes batteries; and pressure connection: special adaptor for Agilent GC instruments included.
