Mass Spec Certified Vials Presentation

Thermo Fisher Scientific, Inc has made the poster presentation ‘How clean are your vials and closures?’ downloadable from its website. Following the recent launch of the industry’s first pre-cleaned chromatography vials - the National Scientific MS certified vials - data demonstrating the effectiveness of pre-cleaning was presented in this poster at HPLC 2010.

The MS certified vials and various competitor vials were exposed to acetonitrile for two hours and subsequently analysed by LC/UV, LC/MS and GC/MS. Resulting data showed no evidence of sample contamination using the National Scientific MS Vials. Cleaned and tested as standard, these unique low-particulate chromatography vials are cleaned in a GMP compliant, fully-validated cleanroom environment to minimise the occurrence of any

contamination.
