Cogent Diamond Hydride™ HPLC Columns from Microsolv have a silica-hydride surface similar to other Cogent TYPE-C™ phases, but the uniqueness of Diamond Hydride™ is that they have a very small amount of carbon on the surface that adjusts the hydrophobicity to an important level.

It has been the choice of scientists working in metabolomics, bio-analytical or with LCMS for compounds such as amino acids, organic acids, carbohydrates, and very polar small molecules. Non-polar and polar peptides have been separated in the same run.

An important alternative to HILIC, these columns perform extremely well in Aqueous Normal Phase which uses Acetonitrile and Water but equilibrates very rapidly and the data produced is very precise.

Available in Guard, Analytical or Prep sizes with 100A, 4um or 2.2um particle sizes.
