New distribution agreement broadens APAC protein research support

03 Nov, 2025

Nuclera, the biotechnology company known for accelerating drug discovery, has expanded its reach in the Asia-Pacific region through a new partnership with Solve Scientific in Australia and New Zealand. The agreement is part of Nuclera’s ongoing global expansion strategy, aimed at making its eProtein Discovery™ platform more accessible to researchers across key APAC markets.

The Asia-Pacific recombinant protein market is rapidly growing, with projections estimating revenues of $1.45 billion by 2030. By partnering with Solve Scientific, Nuclera aims to provide localised support and expertise to life science researchers, helping streamline early-stage drug discovery workflows.

“Expanding our distribution network in APAC is a significant step in supporting the region’s growing research community,” said Joseph Bertelsen, CCO of Nuclera. “This partnership strengthens our ability to reach more scientists and provide the tools they need to advance protein research efficiently.”

Shaun Brooks, Managing Director of Solve Scientific, added: “We’re excited to bring Nuclera’s platform to ANZ researchers. Collaborating with Nuclera allows us to demonstrate how innovative approaches can support complex protein discovery projects and accelerate research outcomes.”
