Taking clinical aboratory IT solutions to the cloud

DataServices has released a software as a service platform that brings clinical laboratory IT solutions to the cloud.

Lab Connector is a web based reporting system which offers flexible configurations to clinical diagnostic laboratories. The technology has a unique reporting engine where diagnostic lab partners can view their patient’s lab test results in a user-friendly html format, with the option of emailing their patients, faxing them or printing the results.

There is also an online portal, patient portal, customer service representative portal, patient assessment engine, shopping cart and a health care provider search directory.

This technology may signal the start of what is to come for science software, with an increasing demand for everything to be in one place. The DataServices technology eliminates the need of multiple, dedicated data servers at a laboratory.
