MyPIPETMAN®: A Combination of Functional Choices and Pipette Personalization

Lightweight and well-balanced, MyPIPETMAN pipettes have an elegant design with a textured effect for a better grip. This pipette combines an ergonomic design with minimized pipetting forces. With no compromise on quality and performance, the patented built-in tip ejection button provides reduced tip ejection forces and reinforces the pipette’s ergonomics for convenient use throughout the day.

MyPIPETMAN pipettes are mechanical pipettes available through two main options: MyPIPETMAN Select and MyPIPETMAN Enterprise. As a core life sciences lab tool, pipettes should be lightweight, ergonomic, reliable, and easy-to-use. All of Gilson’s MyPIPETMAN options are best-in-class for meeting those requirements.

MyPIPETMAN® Select is a global, in stock and ready to order, catalog pipette offering improved pipetting with its lightweight, well-balanced design, and a textured handle for better grip. The unique patented improvements include reduced pipetting forces, reduced tip ejection forces, and Gilson’s Trilock™ system. The Trilock is a new volume-locking system that allows the researcher to choose from three positions when setting the volume. The free volume setting position provides quick and effortless volume adjustment, the light ratchet volume setting is helpful for precise volume adjustment, and the volume locked position is perfect for secure pipetting.

Another key feature of MyPIPETMAN Select is the option for special text printing on the handle. Create visual markings to identify a pipette to avoid the risk of contamination by dedicating it to a specific workflow step or workstation, helping support the Lean Lab Process and organization.

The global launch of this pipette line includes MyPIPETMAN Enterprise models, with technical and personalization options for enterprises and industries. This pipette allows the scientist to fully customize the volume locking method, pipetting and tip ejection forces, and tip ejector material. Additionally, researchers can fully customize their series of pipettes by choosing the colors of the different parts and the handle with both text and a logo.
