Creasallis, a UK-based start-up focused on enhancing the penetration of therapeutic antibodies into tumours, has received a boost from Integra Biosciences. As part of the 'Integra supports start-ups' competition, Creasallis is awarded 50 EVOLVE manual pipettes, GRIPTIPS® pipette tips valued at US $1000, and various lab accessories. This support empowers Creasallis to efficiently pipette volumes ranging from 0.2 to 5000 μl, enhancing its capabilities for ground-breaking research in antibody therapy.

Established in 2021, Creasallis addresses a crucial challenge in antibody therapies -their limited penetration into tumours, often leading to surface-level treatment. The company's patented CreaTap technology aims to overcome this limitation and can be integrated into existing antibodies. The recent prize from Integra allows Creasallis to elevate its laboratory operations, ensuring more accurate and dedicated pipetting for tasks such as cell culture and protein work, ultimately preventing contamination. Dr Joyce Ratti, Head of Protein Sciences at Creasallis, expressed gratitude for the generous prize, emphasising its significant impact on expanding the lab's capabilities and accelerating their innovative research.
