Kruss GmbH and Messrs. DIA-STRON Ltd. have together developed a system for carrying out measurements of the wettability of single fibres with fully automatic sample changing. Up to 50 fibres can be accommodated in the storage cassette. The sample loader removes the fibres one after the other and transfers them to the sample receiver of the Tensiometer K100SF, whose software is used to determine the contact angle. The measured values of the individual fibres can be correlated with their diameters; these can also be determined automatically.

? fully automatic wetting measurement series on single fibres
? Tensiometer with highly-sensitive force sensor
? Automatic sample changing for up to 50 fibres
? comfortable evaluation and data management
? automatic determination of the wetted length of each individual fibre
