Anton Paar Introduces Multiwave 5001 and Multiwave 3001: Advancing sample preparation efficiency

New microwave digestion systems set benchmarks in safety, flexibility, and performance

Anton Paar is proud to announce the launch of Multiwave 5001 and Multiwave 3001 – two next-generation microwave digestion systems designed to enhance laboratory efficiency, sample throughput, and operational safety. With over 50 years of expertise in sample preparation, Anton Paar continues to deliver innovative solutions for laboratories in industries such as environmental analysis, pharmaceuticals, battery materials, and food testing.

Optimised workflows for superior sample preparation

Multiwave 5001 and Multiwave 3001 streamline digestion processes with high sample capacity and robust performance. Multiwave 5001 accommodates up to 64 samples per run, while Multiwave 3001 processes up to 41 samples, reducing preparation time and increasing laboratory efficiency. Capable of reaching 300°C and 100 bar, these systems enable precise digestion of even the most challenging sample matrices.

User-friendly operation is ensured through a 10.1" high-resolution touchscreen, minimising training requirements. Additionally, both models feature self-checks, software interlocks, and a resealing safety door, making them the only microwave digestion systems certified by ETL and GS for safety.

Innovative features for reliable results

Multiwave 5001 introduces SmartTemp 2.0 sensor technology, providing advanced continuous temperature monitoring for each vessel and ensuring precise digestion control. Anton Paar’s AP Connect lab execution system, now supported by Multiwave 5001, enables real-time data access and automated export for seamless integration with laboratory workflows.

Additional features include advanced rotor concepts, hands-free door operation, and an enhanced cooling system, reducing process times while increasing component longevity. A method library with over 600 pre-installed programs and integrated video manuals further simplifies laboratory operations.

For laboratories requiring additional applications such as extraction, evaporation, or drying, Multiwave 5001 offers expanded capabilities, making it a versatile solution for modern sample preparation. Multiwave 3001 offers a budget-friendly alternative for the efficient preparation of routine samples.
