HTR 7000: Full automation and traceability for high-throughput rheology
Apr 25 2025
Anton Paar’s HTR 7000 is a high-throughput rheometer automation system designed to streamline laboratory workflows, ensure reproducible data quality, and provide full traceability. From sample preparation to data transfer, the HTR 7000 automates every step, enabling unattended operation for up to 24 hours.
Equipped with fully automated measurement workflows and supporting up to two MCR rheometers, the HTR 7000 allows for parallel measurements and is capable of processing up to 60 samples without manual intervention. This significantly reduces hands-on time and increases throughput while ensuring consistent measurement conditions.
Built-in features such as sample management, a barcode reader, automated sample trimming, cleaning stations, and bidirectional integration with LIMS ensure traceable data and adherence to standard operating procedures. Optional image documentation adds another layer of transparency and quality assurance, making the system ideal for producing datasets suitable for training AI models.
The modular design offers high flexibility and compatibility with a variety of sample types – solid, paste-like, or liquid – and supports both cone-plate and plate-plate measurement geometries. Users can configure the system to match their workflow requirements, including options for geometry racks, temperature-controlled sample racks, and different trimming and cleaning tools.
HTR 7000 enhances lab safety by minimising direct contact with hazardous materials. Safety features such as enclosed operation, monitored ventilation, and an explosion-safety option make the system suitable for a wide range of applications and operators.
With a three-year warranty, robust support services, and Anton Paar’s global sales and service network, the HTR 7000 offers a long-term solution for laboratories aiming to increase productivity and ensure consistent, high-quality rheological measurements.
