Nova 600/800: Speed and precision in one powerful platform

Delivering speed and precision in a single platform, the Nova 600/800 series of gas sorption analysers ensures you don’t have to choose between fast results and reliable accuracy. 

Nova enables analysts to perform 5-point BET analysis on four samples in just 20 minutes and four 40-point mesopore runs in under eight hours – all with reproducibility better than 2%.

Designed for maximum throughput, it features up to four analysis and eight degassing stations for simultaneous sample preparation and analysis.

The optional degassing accessory adds further flexibility, with eight programmable degassing stations, two heating zones (up to 425°C), and dedicated cooling racks. 

It supports both vacuum and flow degassing methods with full sample preparation traceability, as well as degassing during analysis – eliminating the need for bulky external devices.

Sustainability plays an active role in the Nova system’s design. Helium-free operation conserves non-renewable resources, and the Nitro ReGen mode eliminates the need for cylinders by channelling evaporating gas from the Dewar.

Ease of use and regulatory compliance are also built in to the instrument. A 10-inch touchscreen display enables real-time monitoring and visualisation, while the Kaomi for Nova software offers full PC control, multilingual support, and advanced reporting. For pharmaceutical applications, Kaomi CFR software ensures 21 CFR Part 11 compliance, including audit trails, e-signatures, and Pharma Qualification Packages.

With stainless steel manifolds, Viton seals, and robust electronics, Nova is engineered for long-term reliability.
