Biohit OY enhances its electronic eLINE pipettor range with a new electronic dispenser. The new eLINE Dispenser covers a volume range of 1 µl to 50 ml.

The new dispenser contains a unique feature, an automatic TipGuide that displays the most suitable tip size. The automatic tip selection function eliminates the need for tip selection tables or calculations to find out the appropriate tip size, which often are time consuming and might lead to incorrect tip selections. Instead, the user just sets the desired volume and number of dispensings, and the TipGuide displays the best tip choice automatically.

The automated dispensing function and its comprehensive range of liquid handling protocols make the new eLINE Dispenser a convenient, ergonomic and versatile choice for any challenge of dispensing. It is particularly useful in repetitive dispensing and/or with viscous and high vapour pressure liquids.

The positive displacement principle of the Dispenser Tips guarantees contamination free pipetting, which makes the dispenser very suitable for liquids such as alcohols, acetone and glycerol. In addition to any laboratory performing long series of pipetting and dispensing, industrial and environmental laboratories in particular would benefit from this new dispensing tool.
