The past 18 months has seen Biopharma Group more than triple its freeze drying production capacity, allowing the company to handle anything from small one off R&D and production runs, through to on-going production scale projects.

With in-house lyo scientists and dedicated R&D facilities for formulation and development studies on site, Biopharma Group’s experts can freeze dry your product in a variety of formats from vials, well-plates, in bulk or as lyobeads. Lyobeads are proving particularly popular in the field of diagnostics and vaccines, for example, a million reaction units can be produced in a week at their ISO 13485 accredited facility and then be assembled and packaged in a controlled environment. Biopharma can help whether it is diagnostics including PCR, vaccines, pharmaceuticals, food & nutraceuticals or biotech, no task is too small or challenging. The company are able to handle projects for small molecules, nucleic acids, proteins, bacteria and biomaterials, and for product sensitive projects such as cytotoxics, have a separate standalone facility with dedicated equipment to allow them to handle these specifically.
