New Soft Closing Door on Carbolite CWF Furnaces

Carbolite have designed a new soft closing door for their most popular global product, the CWF general purpose laboratory chamber furnace range.  The new door protects the furnace’s thermal insulation and door plug and is light and easy to handle. The CWF comes in 9 variations from 1100oC to 1300oC and is known for its high quality finish and robust design.   It has a fast heat-up rate and its graded free radiating elements ensure excellent uniformity. The digital PID temperature controller ensures precise repeatable temperatures.

This robust furnace can be used for applications such as the annealing and hardening of steel; ageing and stress relief of non ferrous metals; the testing of ceramic compounds in minerals and cement refractory; the sintering of metal based coatings on ceramics and testing the thermal stability of coatings.
