Streamlined workflows for nitrogen and protein analysis

26 Mar, 2026

World premiere at analytica 2026 showcased best-in-class throughput, lower operating costs, and intelligent software support for reliable nitrogen and protein measurement

At analytica 2026, Elementar Analysensysteme GmbH unveiled the new exceed PLUS series, an evolution of its proven Dumas analysers. Designed for industrial and contract laboratories as well as research institutions, the upgraded nitrogen and protein analysers set new benchmarks in efficiency, robustness, and user-friendliness, enabling reliable determination of nitrogen and protein content across a wide range of applications.

The exceed PLUS analysers are optimised for high sample throughput while minimising maintenance. Exceptionally durable consumables extend uptime, reducing downtime and cutting ongoing operating costs.

New software functions are another highlight of the series: intelligent status updates and guided wizards support users through every step, from routine analysis to GMP-compliant workflows. This helps laboratories standardise processes while delivering precise, reproducible results.

“Laboratories today are under pressure to analyse more samples in less time, often with users of differing experience levels,” explained Peter Corell, Head of Product Management (Market) at Elementar. “The exceed PLUS series addresses this challenge directly: combining high throughput, ease of use, and dependable results. Optimised maintenance cycles and intuitive features lighten daily workloads and boost overall efficiency.”

With its robust design and intuitive interface, the exceed PLUS analysers are suitable for food and feed testing, agriculture, and the chemical industry.

Elementar’s analytica 2026 presentation reaffirmed its commitment to innovations that not only excel technically but also simplify laboratory workflows in the long term.
