PLE? is a high speed Pressurized Liquid Extraction system, from Fluid Management Systems Inc., which performs extraction of multiple samples in minutes compared to the traditional Soxhlet and sonication which can take 9 to 16 hours. PLE process up to 6 extractions simultaneously. This feature increases the speed of extraction significantly. Typical extraction time is 15 to 30 minutes for 6 samples. PLE system offers a wide range of extraction cartridge sizes which allow the end user to use the same unit for all sample sizes. The cartridge size range is 5 250ml.

PLE is modular and expandable from 1 to 6 samples. The modular design of PLE allows the end user to purchase a one or two sample unit inexpensively and expanded it to 6 channels as needed. This feature makes the system extremely affordable.

With FMS's PLE patented one step extraction and clean-up option, the end user can expand PLE with clean-up modules. With FMS's PLE and optional clean-modules, the end user can process the entire extraction and clean-up for food, environmental and biological samples in less than 1 to 2 hours achieving high recoveries and excellent precision for all analytes.
