Hamilton Bonaduz AG is introducing the MICROLAB 600, the next generation of semi-automated laboratory diluters and dispensers for sample preparation. Based on Hamilton’s leading syringe technology, the new MICROLAB 600 instrument has been designed for ease of use and offers flexibility for more routines and smaller sample volumes. "We are continually enhancing our technology to meet the evolving needs of our customers," says Dr Jörg Pochert, Vice President Laboratory & Sensors for Hamilton. "Our main focus for the development of the MICROLAB 600 was precision, ease of use and cost effectiveness. The new features of the MICROLAB 600 will appeal to a broader range of labs, including those with smaller sample quantities and multiple applications”. The new instrument features a controller with an icon-based graphical touch screen for increased ease of use. It provides unsurpassed precision and accuracy while contributing to lowering the cost per sample processed. Hamilton’s patented Bubble Free Prime syringes eliminate trapped air bubbles to speed priming and solvent changes.

The MICROLAB 600 is ideal for broad analytical sample preparation including applications in Diagnostics,  Environmental Analysis or Mining. “We have received very good customer feedback since the market introduction last February. The cost savings provided by the MICROLAB 600 through process standardisation and ease of use address a current need. Laboratories are facing today enormous cost pressure” adds Dr Cavelier. Parallel to the launch Hamilton is offering a special Trade-up & Save promotion to existing MICROLAB 1000 and MICROLAB 500.

The promotion will run from May 1st to October 31st, 2011. A fixed discount of up to 400 EUR will be offered for trading up a MICROLAB 1000 or a MICROLAB 500 to the new MICROLAB 600.

Valid in Europe only from May 1st toOctober 31st, 2011
