New Ergonomics Line Reduces Health Risks

Molecular BioProducts, a leading manufacturer of pipet tips, has developed a new, patented line of ergonomic products that ease the strain on the thumb, wrist and hand; thus minimizing the health risks associated with frequent pipetting. The new ergonomic pipet tips reduce the amount of force required to eject tips from the shafts of the Gilson®, FinnPipette® Digital, and FinnPipette® Focus pipettors.

The patented bi-fabricated wall provides all the benefits of an ergonomic pipetting system without the need to purchase a set of expensive specialty pipettors. This advanced tip creates a strong, effective seal around the pipettor shaft as a result of a substantially smaller, non-variable sealing area and provides a 91 percent reduction in ejection force. Available as standard pipet tips or with the patented ART self-sealing barrier, all MBP tips are independently certified to be RNase, DNase, nucleic acid, ATP and pyrogen free.
