The Ultraseal™ Lite from Porvair Sciences is a semi-automatic microplate sealer that is designed to meet the needs of labs with low to medium throughput processing requirements of up to 6 plates per minute. The device is user-friendly, making it easy to operate, and offers a cost-effective solution for efficient microplate sealing.

An ideal solution for labs with limited space, the Ultraseal™ Lite has a compact design that allows it to fit into tight spaces such as lab benches or inside fume hoods. Despite its small size, it is a powerful and reliable device that provides efficient microplate sealing.

With its powerful 450W heater and strong sealing action, the Ultraseal™ Lite can achieve high integrity sealing of various types of microplates, including deep well, shallow well, low profile deep well, filter, and assay plates that conform to the ANSI/SLAS standard format. The device's advanced features ensure a strong and reliable seal, providing an efficient and effective solution for labs requiring high-quality sealing.

By using heat seal films and foils, the device can provide either permanent or peelable seals for commonly used microplate types, such as polypropylene, polystyrene, and polyethylene. This feature ensures that labs can effectively seal microplates with different materials, providing convenience and versatility for a range of laboratory applications.

Using Porvair seals, the Ultraseal™ Lite can seal most polypropylene plates in less than 3 seconds each. Seal times and temperatures are fully adjustable through the control touch screen, allowing for flexibility in sealing parameters. After sealing, the plates are automatically ejected from the device, making the process fast and efficient.

The Ultraseal™ Lite can operate on 120 and 240 volt alternating current, 50/60 Hz mains supplies, without requiring a power transformer, due to its dual voltage capability.
