Shield Medicare has added a fully validated, autoclavable, stainless steel spray system to its world leading range of cleaning and disinfection products. The system was developed in cooperation with cleanroom partners from the pharmaceutical industry and has therefore been created with their requirements in mind. The Klercide Pressurised Spray System enables quick and easy application of a disinfectant in large areas and can be used in conjunction with the Klercide range of disinfectants.

The Klercide Pressurised Spray System can be easily moved to different locations whilst remaining stable during use. It is made from 316 stainless steel and is a fully autoclavable system which allows the user to ensure it is sterile on entering the cleanroom environment. In addition, the Klercide Pressurised Spray System complies with the requirements of the PED (Pressure Equipment Directive).

This system operates with an external compressed air supply at a maximum pressure of 4 bar, delivering 80 ml 1000 ml/minute of clean solution onto surfaces, depending on the nozzle used. The amount of pressure can be controlled by the operator as required for each area. This, in conjunction with the choice of nozzles, allows a wide range of spray patterns to be achieved, from very concentrated for problem areas, through to very wide for fast coverage.
