Thermo Fisher Scientific Nunc Edge 96-well plates feature a unique evaporation moat. The moat can be filled with 1.7 ml sterile H20 or media. The liquid in the moat evaporates in place of the contents of the wells, resulting in reduced evaporation from the entire plate. This effectively means 37% improved performance of the plate.
