The Celrol Elite roller apparatus from Wiggens is designed for use in the production of various attachment cells. The units are available from 5 up to 88 bottle positions. Deck-to-deck spacing allows users to grow more cells in less space. The system, with a fully stainless steel design, meets full GMP standards.

The Wiggens Roller apparatus allows users to grow cell attachments from standard plastic/glass bottles at a convenient scale. The advantage of roller culture is that it can increase the surface area of the cell, and the gentle rotation is beneficial to the cell growth. As the flask rotates, the cells leave the medium for a period of time and are suspended in the air, increasing the exchange of gas and facilitating cell growth.

For vaccine production or when high production is required, Celrol Elite can be used to add additional layers (up to 11 layers) to place the additional bottles as needed. The system can be added to any type of bottle rolling machine battery backup system and SMS alarm. It also can connect the printer to output the report directly. A standard cell culture bottle of 108-121 mm in diameter and 550 mm in length can be placed by the Celrol Elite. This economic system combines a high capacity bottle rolling machine with a compact structure.

The Siemens Simatic touch screen interface is easy to view from a distance with readily recognised icons for intuitive navigation. A digitally controlled maintenance free motor is accurate to 0.01 RPM. Multiple communication interfaces facilitate information exchange, such as RS-422 Modbus RTU, RS-4485 Modbus RTU, Modbus TCP and TCP/IP.
