Applications are open for a workshop taking place at the Royal College of Surgeons in Dublin from 24 - 25 April, particularly suitable for those engaged in the acquisition of significant amounts of microscopy image data.

The Introduction to Image Analysis workshop, being delivered by experienced core facility staff from the Francis Crick Institute and King’s College London, in partnership with the RMS and the Company of Biologists, has been designed to equip microscopists and researchers with the necessary skills and tools to confidently analyse their data.

Participants will be introduced to open-source tools such as FIJI and napari as well as methodologies for automating their image analyses, thus enhancing research precision, efficiency and reproducibility.

No prior experience in image analysis or coding is required, although a basic understanding of microscopy and image acquisition will be beneficial.
