Jenway’s New Top-ofthe- Range 6850 Spectrophotometer
Apr 25 2012
The 6850 UV/visible spectrophotometer is Jenway’sfirst double-beam instrument with a variable spectral bandwidth. The double beam optics and two detectors measure the sample and reference simultaneously for optimum measurement accuracy and stability over long periods of time. The 6850 variable spectral bandwidth of 0.5nm, 1nm, 2nm, 4nm or 5nm, gives flexibility whilst ensuring compliance to European Pharmacopeia requirements.
An integrated user interface provides full control of the instrument so there is no need to buy a PC to run the spectrophotometer. However, Jenway Prism PC control software is included as standard, introducing functionality such as greater data storage, additional post-measurement tools and preloaded DNA and protein methods.
Designed for quality control, research and routine applications in life science, materials science and the pharmaceutical industry, the Jenway 6850 spectrophotometer offers multiple measurement modes for photometrics, concentration, multiwavelength, spectrum scanning, kinetics, quantitation, DNA and protein analysis.
