Mass spectrometry & spectroscopy
SCINCO announced the launch of its Ignix 6100 ICP-OES and Ionix 7100 ICP-MS systems, expanding its analytical instrumentation portfolio for laboratories requiring reliable analysis across routine testing, industrial quality control and advanced research applications.
Designed to address a wide range of spectroscopy and mass spectrometry workflows, the two platforms provide complementary analytical capabilities for laboratories working with environmental, food, chemical, materials and high-purity applications. Together, the systems support efficient multi-element analysis, reliable quantitative performance and flexible operation across both routine and specialised analytical environments.
The Ignix 6100 ICP-OES is engineered for fast, stable multi-element analysis with strong matrix tolerance and broad application flexibility. Its vertical dual-view torch combines axial sensitivity for trace-level detection with radial robustness for challenging samples, allowing laboratories to manage wide concentration ranges within a single analytical platform. A highly optimised RF generator and robust multi-dimensional optical system help maintain stable plasma conditions, spectral stability and strong UV performance across diverse sample types.
At the core of the system is SCINCO’s proprietary UltraField large-area CCD detector, designed to deliver low-noise performance, deep-UV response and wide spectral coverage. The system supports full-spectrum acquisition from 165 to 900 nm and simultaneous analysis of up to 72 elements, helping laboratories improve analytical throughput while maintaining confidence in quantitative results. Intelligent operational features, including Active Drift Guard, OnePass Gain, smart MFC-controlled dilution and dynamic data integration, support repeatability, reduce repeated dilution steps and simplify routine operation through IgnixPro software.
For laboratories requiring ultra-trace elemental analysis, the Ionix 7100 ICP-MS combines high sensitivity, matrix tolerance and advanced interference control. The platform integrates an all-solid-state ICP ion source, a reliable double-taper ion interface, a high-efficiency sample introduction system and a pure molybdenum quadrupole mass analyser to support stable long-term operation.
Its collision/reaction cell with Kinetic Energy Discrimination technology helps reduce polyatomic interferences and improves confidence in complex multi-element analysis. Advanced sample introduction and gas-control technologies support high-salt, organic and specialised analytical workflows, while the system architecture also provides flexibility for extended applications including LC coupling, laser ablation, online monitoring and automated sample introduction.
IonixMaster software provides integrated instrument control, automatic tuning, diagnostics, method management, calibration, quantification and reporting tools through an intuitive user interface designed for both routine and advanced analytical workflows.
Together, the Ignix 6100 and Ionix 7100 strengthen SCINCO’s elemental analysis portfolio for laboratories involved in environmental monitoring, food and beverage testing, chemical analysis, materials science, semiconductor applications and high-purity reagent analysis. By combining practical workflow design, analytical performance and application flexibility, SCINCO continues to support laboratories and regional partners worldwide with reliable analytical technologies and responsive technical support.
