Specac offers a range of dies for creating sample pellets, these dies are made from hardened stainless steel and are hard wearing and durable. They have vacuum ports to allow moisture to be removed from the sample prior to pressing. These dies are ideal for preparing KBr samples for FTIR and XRF analysis, e.g. pharmaceutical, food & beverage, materials and QC.
These dies are offered in 5, 10, 13, 20, 32 and 40mm diameter sizes, and the 32 and 40mm sizes are also available in lightweight versions for ease of handling. Specac dies are compatible with all of Specac’s Atlas Presses.
