Specac has launched the Pearl™ Liquid analysis accessory, which is set to revolutionise the way routine liquid transmission experiments such as in-service oil analysis are carried out in the laboratory.

With its innovative Oyster™ Lift and Tilt cell mechanism, the Pearl™ is easier, and up to five times quicker to assemble and clean than traditional liquids transmission accessories, with considerably less training required for users.

The Pearl™ is available in ZnSe and CaF2, with parallel as well as wedged windows which eliminate troublesome fringing, resulting in the most accurate pathlength of any transmission accessory, repeatable to within significantly better than 1µm.

Oyster™ cells are available in five pathlengths to suit your application, which can be interchanged in seconds, and this state of the art sample interface means that highly viscous substances such as oils and greases can be analysed.

Once you’ve tried the Specac Pearl™ liquid analyser, you’ll never use a traditional liquid cell again.
