Stainless Steel Cutting Mill Ideal for Cannabis Flower and Hemp Milling

Retsch’s heavy-duty Cutting Mill SM 300 is now available in a corrosion-resistant 316L stainless steel version. All parts in contact with the sample material (hopper, housing, rotor) are made of 316L stainless steel, making this mill ideally suited for applications in the pharmaceutical or food industry.

A new 30 l receptacle of the same material is available for grinding large sample batches. With features such as variable speed from 100 to 3000 rpm and a wide range of accessories, this new SM 300 model is perfectly suited for cutting large volumes of cannabis plant material, in amounts up to 20 kg/h flower buds. It achieves grind sizes in a range between 1 and 20 mm, depending on the material. The obtained pulverised sample is suitable for extraction via ethanol or supercritical CO₂.

A fold-back hopper and smooth surfaces ensure quick and easy cleaning. Retsch offers a whole range of cutting mills for virtually any application.
