Greyhound Chromatography, a leading supplier of specialist laboratory equipment and chromatography supplies, has launched a new website to expand the service for its global customer base.

Designed by award-winning digital agency Glow New Media – the site showcases the company’s 30,000 plus product range and provides a search facility for chemicals based on a series of scientific nomenclature.

Phil Blything from Glow New Media, said: “Greyhound now has one of the most powerful speciality chemical online search facilities in the industry. For a global operator ecommerce is a major focal point because, for the majority of their customers, the internet is the first and most convenient point of contact. Greyhound needed a robust, high-end ecommerce website to cope with such a large product range and scale of demand and we’re delighted to have been able to deliver that for the company.”

Greyhound, which has been based in Birkenhead for the last 30 years, is the main agent and distributor for more than 28 scientific multinationals including Chem Service, Chromacol, Hamilton, High Purity Standards, National Scientific, Sigma Aldrich and Wellington Laboratories.

Paul Massie, Managing Director of Greyhound, said: “We are delighted with the new website. Due to our increasing international trade a vibrant and comprehensive website is a must. Glow Media supplied exactly what was needed, a fabulous site that we have total control of as it grows. The new website can be viewed at www.greyhoundchrom.com.
