Novasep, a leading supplier of services and technologies for the life sciences and chemical industries, has expanded its presence in Asia with the signing two partnership agreements for the Japanese market.

Allied Laboratories, a life science and chemical consulting company, will provide business development and technical services for Novasep Prochrom®, Hipersep®, Varicol®, SupersepTM and BioSC® chromatography and bio-process equipment in the Japanese market in close co-operation with Novasep Asia, the company’s Shanghai-based process development and engineering centre.

The second agreement was signed with AR Brown to represent Novasep’s CMO services in Japan, including both chemical and biological custom manufacturing businesses.

“Japan is an innovative marketplace for the global life sciences industry. Our Japanese customers continuously aim for excellence through leading edge technologies,” said Jacky Perret, Novasep’s head of business development in Japan. “As a result of these agreements, we’ll be able to provide them with high-efficiency purification technologies and custom manufacturing services. This move will enable us to support their most challenging projects with a local team in a time-efficient manner.”

“I am delighted to count Allied Laboratories and AR Brown as our business partners in Japan,” said Dr Michel Spagnol, chairman and CEO of Novasep. “These agreements with two renowned and trusted Japanese partners are a key step to reinforcing our local presence, in line with the deployment of our growth strategy.”
