SCP Science Purchases Conostan

SCP Science (Montreal, Canada) has purchased ConocoPhillips oil-based standards manufacturing division Conostan, suppliers of standards for calibration or verification of instruments used to analyse organic fluids.
Manufacturing will be relocated to SPC’s Montreal base from the current Ponca City, Okla., site with product availability expected at the end of the year. The range includes standards for AAS, particle counting and
sulphur-in-oils amongst others.
“We look forward to offering quality Conostan products made with proven technology to new customers, while continuing to serve existing Conostan cutomers,” siad George Feilders, president of SCP Science.
“This purchase offers the opportunity for us to become a full-service
supplier and manufacturer to the worldwide atomic spectroscopy laboratory market.”
