Hospital Chain Orders Advanced Radiotherapy Systems

Varian Medical Systems has been selected by the Apollo Hospitals Group to supply 12 advanced medical linear accelerators and five brachytherapy systems over the next two years, as India's largest private hospital chain rolls out a program to replace ageing cancer treatment machines.

The order includes the installation of an Edge Radiosurgery system in one of Apollo's tertiary carecentres, while the company’s TrueBeam family of linear accelerators will be delivered to hospitals throughout the Apollo chain.
