Mageleka – Magnometer

12 May, 2025

Best bench top innovation

The Mageleka Magnometer is an innovative, low-cost low field bench top NMR Relaxation device that combines state-of-the-art technology with a user-friendly graphical user interface (GUI) that makes it worthy to win a Labmate Award for Excellence

This device is designed to facilitate complex NMR Relaxation measurements for the scientific community without any prior NMR experience or training. It provides fast and accurate particle characterisation and solid-liquid interface analysis of dispersions and suspensions, making it ideal for fundamental research and development (R&D) formulation, rapid quality control (QC) analysis of incoming raw materials, and quality assurance (QA) of final products.

The Magnometer has a wide range of applications, including formulation development, surfactant and polymer adsorption, particle reduction monitoring, crystallization, dispersant selection and concentration, rapid rheological screening, battery electrolyte formulation, and graphene processing.

In conclusion, the Mageleka Magnometer is a novel, low-cost, user-friendly solution that assists laboratory technicians and research scientists in understanding and developing formulations, monitoring incoming materials for surface chemistry changes, and assessing batch-to-batch variations in final products.
