Adam Equipment Co. Ltd., a world-class manufacturer of mass measurement equipment, has released a new line of laboratory balances. The introduction of the PW analytical and PGW precision balances demonstrates the company's ongoing commitment to bringing the latest in weighing technology to its customers.

The new state-of-the-art laboratory balances were exhibited at ANALYTICA 2006 in Munich and ACHEMA 2006 in Frankfurt.

The new PGW precision balance is extremely versatile with up to 18 weighing units (including 1 custom unit) and 7 weighing modes including parts counting, percentage weighing, check weighing, net/total formulation, density determination and animal / dynamic weighing. An oversized backlit dual display allows simultaneous viewing of weighing data alongside user-selected reference data (such as functions, menu prompts, piece weights, time, or date) while the capacity tracker alerts of any approaching overloads. The balances offer Multi-lingual display facility in English, French, German and Spanish. The machine's smooth contours divert spills and its solid aluminum construction, sealed keypad, and removable stainless steel pan all provide added defence against damage. Password protection software prevents unauthorized use of certain software parameters and an integral mounting point for a security lock and cable secures the balance. A bi-directional RS-232 interface allows for data to be sent to printers or PC's (and for GLP-compliant reports to be generated after each calibration) while a second port enables future communication expansion. With eight capacity/readability configurations and the option for internal calibration or external calibration for each model, there is a PGW perfect for every precision balance requirement. The PGW range has models ranging from 150g x 0.001g to 4500g x 0.01g.
