Jasco Europe is proud to introduce the new P-2000 multi-option polarimeter.

Designed as a customizable polarimeter, P-2000 features a single optical platform with the option to provide the most suitable combination of optical elements - polarizers, filters, lamps and detectors - to meet customer's initial requirements and budget. The instrument can also be field upgraded any time as the application needs change.

P-2000 offers a range of light sources including Tungsten-Halogen, Sodium, Mercury lamps. Up to two light sources can be simultaneously installed in the instrument giving the P-2000 the widest wavelength range of any polarimeter available; from the UV-Vis region (254 nm) to the NIR region (880 nm).

The P-2000 is a simple unit to operate via PC with Spectra ManagerTM II software or by using Jasco's iRM hand-held controller. Both of these interfaces allow full-system control and advanced data processing. 21 CFR part 11 compliant versions are available as an option.

A full line of accessories, including a variety of cells, a newly developed Peltier cell holder, sample sippers and monochromator options are offered for functional expansion of the P-2000 to support a wide variety of applications.

An automated validation program is available for GLP/cGMP laboratories or those regulated by the FDA. The program can be used for automated periodic validation of light source energy, zero repeatability, and rotational accuracy/repeatability. Inspected filters, sample cells with certified optical path length, and NIST-traceable rotation plates are also available.
