The NU-677E LabGard Class II Type A2 Biosafety Cabinet offers biological containment for animal research in a design that includes the access, mobility, and durability that vivariums need while minimising the long-term cost of ownership. Your cage changing or other procedures should not be forced to fit inside a biosafety cabinet but rather the biosafety cabinet should be configured to fit around your process. That is why the NU-677E includes a 12-inch (305mm) work access opening to easily move cages in and out, a base stand whose height can be adjusted for the comfort of each technician, and castors that provide easy mobility. Engineered for long term service, this model is designed with a DC-ECM motor/fan system to move airflow into the permanently mounted flexible HEPEX plenum with equal pressure, distributing particles evenly onto the upstream side of the HEPA filter. Even filter loading promotes uniform downflow velocity and extends HEPA filter life. Furthermore, an easily accessible pre-filter in the back wall helps trap animal hair and dander.
