The LabGard® NU-543E biosafety cabinet maximizes return on investment for laboratories seeking containment at the best long-term cost of ownership.
The LabGard biosafety cabinet is designed using an optimally sized DC ECM motor / fan system to move airflow into the permanently mounted flexible HEPEX plenum with equal pressure, distributing particles evenly onto the upstream side of the HEPA filter. Rigid plenums can cause unequal pressure gradients that can lead to uneven particulate loading on the upstream side of the HEPA filter leading to uneven downflow. Even filter loading promotes uniform downflow velocity and extends HEPA filter life. The permanently mounted flexible HEPEX plenum is protected within the cabinet and is designed to minimize transmission of motor/fan noise and vibration.
Making the best investment in containment means recognizing that a low purchase price has the potential to mask long-term expenses and a higher lifetime cost, while a larger initial investment in a quality BSC can yield financial savings over the long term.
The FlowGard control system calculates and displays a simple and clear readout of the inflow based on the data input from the exhaust sensor. The work zone features LED lighting and your preference of either glass or steel sidewalls as well as a dished, one-piece work surface with prop rods that retains spills on the surface while remaining easy to clean under. Finally, you can choose an optional telescoping base stand with your choice of leg levelers, castors and mechanical or motorized height adjustability.
