A Plus of Innovative Features
Jun 23 2009
Analytik Jena has redesigned the proven ZEEnit series. The ZEEnit 650 P, a Zeeman AAS for graphite furnace and hydride techniques, and the ZEEnit 700 P, a compact tandem spectrometer for flame, hydride and graphite furnace techniques, provide users with a ‘plus’ of new functions. Both ZEEnit series instruments are equipped with an 8-lamp turret to offer the highest degree of automation and sample throughput. An integrated super lamp power supply now ensures optimal analytical performance. A high-end vision tool facilitates improved control of the drying phase and droplet deposition in the graphite furnace. This instrument provides information in a unique image quality, allowing detailed observation and effective optimisation.
An integrated RFID tool also reads all the lamp data fully automatically and generates a protocol. The coded lamps are identified on insertion, the operating data is set and the running times monitored. This excludes the possibility of operator errors. The standards from the known ZEEnit series form the basis for the new features. The ‘Dual Atomiser concept’ makes it easy to change from flame to graphite furnace technique without adjustment by one click in the software. The transversely heated graphite furnace with all its highlights ensures maximum accuracy and operation according to the STPF concept. The third-generation Zeeman technique is unsurpassed in background correction – the variable magnetic field combined with the three-field technique and the dynamic mode are the basis for an extended linear working range and optimum sensitivity. The flame system, too, features a high degree of automation. The burner/nebuliser system ensures that samples are optimally nebulised and atomised. A multitude of practical accessories rounds off the new ZEEnit system.
