Liquid handling
Analytik Jena will present a range of automation solutions for laboratory workflows at the SLAS 2026 International Conference & Exhibition, taking place from 7–11 February. Among the highlights is the launch of the PULSEspencer R, the first instrument in a new series of digital, contactless dispensers within the company’s portfolio.
Developed for precise low-volume dispensing, the PULSEspencer R enables accurate handling of liquids such as DMSO, water, small molecules, and biomolecules using disposable cassettes. The system is built around three core principles - miniaturisation, direct dilution, and rapid volume distribution - helping laboratories streamline assay setup while reducing reagent consumption and waste.
Its compact footprint and modular design allow the PULSEspencer R to be integrated easily into a wide variety of laboratory environments. The system supports applications ranging from drug discovery to genomics, offering reproducible performance and simplified operation. Contactless dispensing combined with intuitive software shortens setup times and supports efficient, consistent workflows.
In addition to the product launch, Analytik Jena will host an exhibitor tutorial titled ‘CyBio FeliX as Your Excellent Source of Protein – Now Including the Tough Ones’. The session will focus on automated protein purification workflows, covering antibodies, labelled proteins, and membrane proteins preserved in their native lipid environment using NativeMP™ technology, developed in cooperation with Cube Biotech.
The tutorial will take place on Monday, 9 February 2026, from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. EST in Room 102A. Throughout SLAS 2026, visitors to booth 2243 can also explore live protein purification demonstrations, next-generation sequencing workflows, sustainability-driven low-volume pipetting approaches, and cell assay applications using CyBio FeliX in a safety cabinet configuration.
