Density measurement market leader Anton Paar has launched production of certified reference materials. The new density standards come with the lowest possible uncertainty and are ISO 17034-certified - a unique combination on the market. They ensure supreme density measurements - no matter the instrument manufacturer.

Anton Paar, maker of the world’s most accurate digital density meter, has set up an independent, ISO 17034-accredited production site for reference materials. Anton Paar will initially offer density standards in the range from 0.75 kg/m3 to 1.25 kg/m3, specified with an uncertainty down to 0.015 kg/m3. Safety and intuitive handling are key: All materials are non-toxic and easy to fill and measure. As the typical plastic closures of other density standards are prone to exchange with ambience, Anton Paar relies on sealed safety-glass caps, so composition variation and quality loss are excluded. The ampoule cap has a shatterproof breaking point and is openable at a simple finger-press click.

ISO 17034 requirements always include those of ISO 17025: The new certified reference materials conform with both ISO standards. An ISO 17034 certificate guarantees the correctness of reference values throughout the density standard’s lifetime – not just on the day of production. The standards are available in the Anton Paar webshop.
