The latest lab product news from Beaver Medical Group (BMG) has expanded both the number of patients that the company can serve and the level of care that they can be offered.

In the lab product news announced this week, BMG revealed that it has fitted three-dimensional echocardiology technology, becoming one of southern California's first medical practices to do so.

The technology allows highly detailed images of the heart valves, size of the organ and how effectively it works to be pictured using ultrasound.

Ralph Bonanza, director of the non-invasive cardiac laboratory at BMG, says: "With the acquisition of this new technology, addition of new treatment areas and the upgrade of our existing equipment, we can offer cardiology patients the most advanced diagnostics available in the inland empire in a non-invasive setting."

Dr Meredith Beaver, cofounder of BMG, opened his practice at 131 Cajon Street, Redlands, in 1931, establishing Beaver Medical Clinic in 1945 with three fellow physicians from the armed forces.
