Automated Reading of Rosco Neo-Sensitabs

The BIOMIC V3 Microbiology System from Giles Scientific, Inc now automates the reading and interpretation of Rosco Neo-Sensitabs. Neo-Senstiabs comprise 125+ different antimicrobial agents. BIOMIC V3 interprets Neo-Sensitabs based on current CLSI and EUCAST guidelines.

BIOMIC V3’s colour digital imaging technology also reads and interprets all brands of disks for antibiotic susceptibility testing. Additional features include reading and interpreting of identification panels including API® (bioMerieux), RapIDTM (Remel), CrystalTM (BD), chromogenic agar and colony count test plates. Bar code reading and a bi-directional LIS/LIMS interface further speeds testing workflow. BIOMIC V3 serves as a primary or secondary AST-ID system for microbiology laboratories.
